Before we get started, we're both gonna be gone for a few days after this. He's gotta finish our project and I don't trust him not to try something at the end.
There's nothing anyone can really do at this point to stop us anyway, and I'm guessing the next few days are just gonna be more talking about taking us out and friendship or whatever.
[ Hmm. After a few seconds, he nods. All of that's a fair assessment and all. ]
Yeah, that sounds exactly what they'd do. They're pretty happy-go-lucky if they think that alone will solve everything? I know they were thinking of messing with computers and machinery while praying that Merlin and the dead will save the day, but...
[ That meeting was so awkward, and not even in a funny kind of way. ]
Unsurprisingly, I don't see a concrete foundation to their plans.
The dead shouldn't come back to life, but I know res spells are a thing in games. I guess that's there big secret? [ The thought of revival makes his skin crawl actually, but instead of scratching he opts for stroking Ibuki's palm with a few of his fingers instead. ]
But even if they do, so what? No one's seen everything I can do and that goes double for what the ostrich can do. There's a reason I haven't tried to actually fight him and that's cuz if we both went at it there'd be nothing left.
And if they wanna try to tamper with the tech sure, but we're the only ones with admin clearance. They could probably do somethin' annoying, but do they really think it's gonna be that easy?
Lacus said Merlin's magic gets stronger when the group has a strong bond with each other, so that's already problem number one right there.
[ He laughs as well, the idea of such magic being the perfect trump card is so absurd. It almost made him say something, but it's not like he has to comment on everything they do. ]
Yeah, looks like they haven't thought things through. There wasn't even talk of a plan on how to fight you two? They played party games instead. I suppose there's a lot happening behind closed doors, but they weren't exactly inspiring confidence there.
[ He lets some of his fingers curl against his, trying not to disrupt his touch. ]
So I should just out who killed Nona, got it. [ He won't because he's not that type of guy but man. The touch helps, and he eventually settles, lacing their hands tighter momentarily before relaxing. ]
It's kinda funny, but yeah I'd rather spend time doin' things with you. I'm not just gonna forget the pact we made, though I'm sure they'll tell you otherwise. We can't take everyone with us when this place explodes, but why would we in the first place?
That didn't work out when they were trying to solve the cases. [ He grins at that, getting it's a joke, but honestly, it would be pretty funny to see the group twist themselves into pretzels over it. ]
But yeah, a vacation was never meant to last forever in the first place. Might as well end it all with fireworks.
[ Who knows what'll happen, but he knows where he stands. That's why he made that pact in the first place. ]
And video games. Maybe it'll be even whackier than the one you were talking about.
[ He knows he doesn't need to say that, but this is the current mood. Well, evil plottings and video games.
They've reached the "hideout" as it is (it's roughly small room sized and this time he bothered to make the laziest stone bench known to man), so time to get down to the fun stuff. ]
[ He doesn't dislike the group, but that doesn't equal like, indeed. (Ah, but he does like the Toucans...) That aside, the snacks he's levitating float down to the ground somewhere that won't get in the way.]
[ Even if he did expect something surprisingly cute, somehow he never imagined a hoodie and a dog cupcake. But it makes a lot of sense considering their conversations, which just proves how wonderful he is at gift giving. ]
Thanks, I love them both already. [ A beat. ] Hmm, give me a second.
[ Without further ado, he temporarily takes off his coat so he can immediately wear the hoodie, humming all the while. Once he does, he twirls once in a practiced motion. ]
How's it look?
[ His tone is joking, but he's clearly having a lot of fun with this. ]
[ These are things that shouldn't be said about Tomura Shigaraki, but he is a good listener so maybe that goes into it. And he reads the network, very obviously.
He's content with watching Ibuki, not understanding the concept of cute himself, but familiar enough with it to make a good guess. Kawaii culture and all. He smiles, laughing a bit at the twirl. ]
[ He laughs, picking up his coat to wear loosely over the hoodie. Then he picks up the cupcake plushie and sits down on the bench with a flourish. Placing it on his lap, he turns towards Shigaraki with a grin, other hand gesturing towards the spot next to him. ]
[ He sits down of course, cross legged because what is sitting properly ever, poking the plush with one finger once he's settled. ]
For a fighting game I got... Mortal Kombat. It's your standard fighter, 'cept the specials are called fatalities which let you pull out your opponent's skull or flay them alive. There's a lot of gore, it's pretty neat.
[ He approves, as someone who is very familiar with gore. ]
The other game is called Katamari Damacy. Basically you're this little guy who's job it is to rebuild the stars, and to do that you roll things up, making a bigger and bigger ball as you go. First you can only get small things like thumbtacks, but you can work your way up to rolling up people, buildings, cities...rollin' up the people is hilarious cuz they yell the whole time!
I'm surprised that managed to get made. Interesting what sort of things people come up with. Fatalities, huh? I guess I'll just have to see how many varieties they thought of. [ He doesn't look bothered by the idea, peering curiously at the small CDs. But he looks back at Shigaraki when he continues with his quick explanation on Katamari Damacy. ]
Hmm, now that I think about it, that kind of sounds like what I ended up doing against that Nomu.
[ Not that it ended up working, but he did think it was pretty fun to put together the debris like that. ]
It's not supposed to be sold to kids, but that just makes it more popular. Wanna start with Katamari then? You can just pretend you're gonna fight a baby Nomu at the end.
Hmm, I'm a little more interested in what they did with Mortal Kombat actually. But I'll definitely keep that in mind when we start that one up.
[ Seriously, those fatalities sound like something normally reserved for horror dramas? He's curious about how they pulled it off, even with how interesting Katamari sounds as well. ]
That eager to see heads explode, huh. [ This is both a joke and pure Shigaraki. He'll pop Mortal Kombat into the PSP then, starting the game up and loading into the character select screen. ]
Certainly curious, yeah. [ He leans even closer towards to Shigaraki to get a better look at the PSP, arms still around the dogcake plushie. ]
Hmm, you first? Since this is the first time I've seen a PSP. [ Not that he minds starting out, but with something as new to him as a PSP, he'd prefer to observe first. ]
The controls are pretty much the same, just in a more compact package. [ But he nods, not minding going first or the leaning. Let's see... he picks Raiden because the classics, randomizing his opponent.
It's a fighting game so there's a lot of clicking of buttons but when he gets his opponent down to a sliver of HP... this sure is a fatality. Shigaraki laughs, of course. ]
Messy!! But kinda funny, even I don't usually see bodies explode like that.
Technology can be amazing. [ He peers at both the fight on the screen and how Shigaraki handles the controls, all while occasionally cheering on like, well, a cheerleader. At least he isn't doing a play-by-play commentary like he did a few days ago.
But all fights have to come to an end. Boom, fatality! Ibuki chuckles as well when he witnesses that, staring at the aftermath of the fight like it's a joke in motion. See you opponent, nice knowing you. ]
Wow, bye. That's one way to keep someone from getting back up. [ Which does seem to be the point, so kudos for that. ] Flashy, but if it works, why not?
[ Not like fights aren't messy by their nature anyway. ]

[ He'll take his hand back now, because you need two to give things. Or at least two if you need to fish said things out of a bag.
First he pulls out a psp and two game cases which will remain a mystery for just a bit longer. Then he takes out one hoodie (size M) and... this ridiculous looking dog cupcake plush. One in each hand, obviously. ]

Reminds me of what Overhaul can do actually.

[ He purses his lips at the thought. But yeah, let's not continue thinking about how to clean off body parts. ]
Huh, he sure can do a lot. I was shaking sand off for like an hour after last weekend.
[ Then there's whatever he did to Beelzebub in that one trial early on? Must be quite the power set. ]

[ Better not to talk about that though for a bunch of reasons. ]
One more? [ He says this but he's already picked Subzero. ]
