It's not supposed to be sold to kids, but that just makes it more popular. Wanna start with Katamari then? You can just pretend you're gonna fight a baby Nomu at the end.
Hmm, I'm a little more interested in what they did with Mortal Kombat actually. But I'll definitely keep that in mind when we start that one up.
[ Seriously, those fatalities sound like something normally reserved for horror dramas? He's curious about how they pulled it off, even with how interesting Katamari sounds as well. ]
That eager to see heads explode, huh. [ This is both a joke and pure Shigaraki. He'll pop Mortal Kombat into the PSP then, starting the game up and loading into the character select screen. ]
Certainly curious, yeah. [ He leans even closer towards to Shigaraki to get a better look at the PSP, arms still around the dogcake plushie. ]
Hmm, you first? Since this is the first time I've seen a PSP. [ Not that he minds starting out, but with something as new to him as a PSP, he'd prefer to observe first. ]
The controls are pretty much the same, just in a more compact package. [ But he nods, not minding going first or the leaning. Let's see... he picks Raiden because the classics, randomizing his opponent.
It's a fighting game so there's a lot of clicking of buttons but when he gets his opponent down to a sliver of HP... this sure is a fatality. Shigaraki laughs, of course. ]
Messy!! But kinda funny, even I don't usually see bodies explode like that.
Technology can be amazing. [ He peers at both the fight on the screen and how Shigaraki handles the controls, all while occasionally cheering on like, well, a cheerleader. At least he isn't doing a play-by-play commentary like he did a few days ago.
But all fights have to come to an end. Boom, fatality! Ibuki chuckles as well when he witnesses that, staring at the aftermath of the fight like it's a joke in motion. See you opponent, nice knowing you. ]
Wow, bye. That's one way to keep someone from getting back up. [ Which does seem to be the point, so kudos for that. ] Flashy, but if it works, why not?
[ Not like fights aren't messy by their nature anyway. ]
Must be fun at parties. [ Which is a thing to say when the only parties he's ever been part of were on this archipelago. Anyway, he tilts his head at that fatality, amused at the sight. ]
I've never met anyone with the ability to freeze someone. Frostbite reduces blood flow...so if someone's frozen solid, maybe it'd be a more extreme version of that? [ Now he's curious. ]
My first thought would be shattering though. The creators of this game sure have creative minds.
Mmhm, sure is. [ Flashy indeed. He takes the PSP offered with a nod. ] And yeah, I'll try.
[ Without further ado, he chooses Scorpion. While he can't do any flashy combos, he does have a decent sense of when to back away and when to go for the attack. Eventually, with a "Get over here!", he sets up a fatality of his own. ]
Ah, there goes his limbs. Well, half of them. [ A beat. ] Somehow, I was expecting more limbs to come off there.
Me too. It's not as messy, but I feel like a normal person could do that if they pulled really hard. Pick another, there's gotta be one where they lose all their limbs.
Hmm, I think it's not out of the ordinary with enough opposing force? Just need them to be really rooted there first.
[ Probably could pull it off with his psychokinesis at full power? But at the same time, cleaning that off his clothes would be gross. Downsides, downsides. ]
So Katamari time then? [ Still leaning, because why not. He's sure in good spirits. ]
[ Looks like it has enough going on visually even without that? He's not sure what he's looking at half the time, but it doesn't take him long to just shrug and happily roll with it. ]
I think that music's going to be stuck in my head for a while. So I assume that tiny one is the one putting the work in here?
[ If anything he's even more giddy, like the sight of a katamari gave him an energy boost. Or maybe it's the Prince. So green and adorable...something about him would make a cute plushie. Or both. Probably both, really. ]

Me or you first? Since there's only one PSP.

Reminds me of what Overhaul can do actually.

[ He purses his lips at the thought. But yeah, let's not continue thinking about how to clean off body parts. ]
Huh, he sure can do a lot. I was shaking sand off for like an hour after last weekend.
[ Then there's whatever he did to Beelzebub in that one trial early on? Must be quite the power set. ]
no subject
[ Better not to talk about that though for a bunch of reasons. ]
One more? [ He says this but he's already picked Subzero. ]
no subject
Yeah, sure. Wonder what this one does? [ He doesn't mind watching him again though, smile returning to his face. ]
no subject
[ He says this with his usual nonchalance, and besides there's much more interesting things to see like freezing someone and then popping their head off. ]
...I wonder if you'd even bleed like that after getting frozen solid?

Mine too, but that's how my quirk works. At least it's flashy.
Wanna give it a go now? [ Holds his hand out to offer the psp. ]

[ He ends up chooses Kabal for the next match, now a little faster at getting a fatality. The spinning is so absurd that it makes him laugh a bit. ]
I think that counts? Everything did go flying that time.
no subject
That almost made me dizzy!
no subject
Yeah, that was so much spinning? [ Almost makes him want to try to spin that fast. ] They sure have some wild ideas about how limbs come off.
no subject
[ He's almost tempted to try it next time, but his quirk will always be his favorite. ]
Try one of the women next!

[ This time he finishes with Kira's fatality, raising an eyebrow when she yeets half of the opponent to who-knows-where. ]
Those blades didn't look like they nailed him down enough for that, but sometimes you just really want something out of there.
[ Leaning towards Shigaraki again, Ibuki holds out the PSP, wordlessly asking what he wants to do now. ]
no subject
[ How do you rip off someone's torso so cleanly...??
After a moment he shrugs and takes the PSP. ]
Time for a different type of destruction. [ Give him a moment to swap games, it's Katamari time. ]
no subject
[ Probably could pull it off with his psychokinesis at full power? But at the same time, cleaning that off his clothes would be gross. Downsides, downsides. ]

[ im on plane wifi so forgive the no linking of the Katamari OP but it's here.
he doesn't mind the leaning obviously, the good mood contagious. ]
The musics pretty catchy too.

[ He's only realizing that now or maybe only being aware of it now. ]
For now we can start with this house! [ The katamari is roughly cat sized and speaking of... yeah he's rolling up the house cat. ]
