You're not wrong. I've eaten in my sleep before, especially if I'm too hungry or dream about something delicious. I think I'm the only demon who can do that.

I ate a lot when I woke up. Most of the dry pantry in the kitchen. Some of the shelves, too. And the door's broken.
The walls are all intact. But it doesn't look pretty.

I don't normally sleep that long without getting up to eat. I'd have prepared if I knew. Is that going to be happening a lot?
