There is a moment of silence. That is all there is, following the end one meets, but it is wrong to say that nothing else proceeds afterward. Indeed, upon the deceased opening their eyes, there's a feeling like settling into a body that has not yet crossed over, and an undeniable bright scene in front of them.
Is it heaven? Is it purgatory? These are the questions that may unfurl when faced with a bright, vibrant sky with pleasant colors, and soft clouds. Alongside this pleasing sight are picturesque rivers, running around fields of flowers mixed with lively greenery that seems to extend to distances behind one's comprehension. But, make no mistake—there are large trees dotted here or there, where someone might feel compelled to lie under given how welcoming they look.
Perhaps most striking, however, is the floating tower, that seems currently unreachable no matter how close anyone nears it. Does it need to be blocked off with an invisible shield? Honestly, no. But nobody knows that, and maybe no one will figure it out either, despite how many times they will ask who frequents it...who so happens to be standing outside of it, but also nearby. Huh.

What a shock, isn't it? To see someone like Merlin so soon. Yet, he hardly seems perturbed, as he says, "Oh, so you've come! What a terrible fate you've been met with. But, don't worry, there's plenty of things to keep you occupied with.
What do I mean by that, you ask? I mean yourselves, of course! And, yes, by the way, you're still dead. So sorry about that. If you need anything, though, just call my name and I'll be there."
Beat. "Probably."
Then he disappears helpfully in a flurry of petals, not even saying where this is. Wow, helpful, isn't he? But, you have more than enough time to explore, at least. And hey, where did that random shack come from far off in the distance? If one goes in, they'll find a random bookcase inside, filled to the brim with fairytales that automatically replenishes if all books have been read with new ones. In addition, there's a random 'fan magazine' of the super popular idol Magi☆Mari; a beautiful white-haired young woman with purple eyes. Huh, why does she look familiar?
...Anyway, at least this will all keep one occupied.
As a side note, off to the distance are a a massive gathering of trees, but whenever one tries to approach them they can't seem to actually get close. How obnoxious! Looks like you'll have to just continue to admire your surroundings of pink flowers, one or two solitary trees, rivers, and other flora for miles on end.
As of 'Week 3', there is now an additional, cutesy shed in the Garden of Avalon that can be accessed for arts and crafts materials. Sewing kits, canvasses, painting materials, paper, you name it! There also is a shelf full of lube as well, for your needs. They will have a hint of a flower scent.
As of 'Week 4', the forest is glowing and can at some point be entered for funtimes.
By 'Final Week', there is a small little cottage of some sort that has appeared, which is ridiculously more spacious once walked into. It appears to be like a little free-for-all clothing store, except everything is free of charge. The styles range from cutesy pink, stylish, fancy, and to even towards the gothic side of things...but also there is a spot filled with make-up and the like! Do you want to look pretty in death? No worries, you too can shine here as well with beauty products found along the shelves, and of course mirrors alongside changing rooms for your convenience.
There are also knitting tools, for those wanting to really step up their skills.
Additionally, in this large 'cottage', there are private changing rooms with mirrors and a plush long seat to sit down if you want to for whatever reason. The doors lock once someone is inside and the door is closed.
Lastly, for those feeling 'adventurous', they would also happen to find costumes. Sexy ones, likes nurses, maids, and the like, but also silly 'scary' ones like a t-rex and a sheet ghost.
The forest has also stopped glowing, and upon entering it give you view to a beautiful lake surrounded by trees (sans mist.) The sky is still a fantastical color, and taking a soak at any time is possible.
However, on the other side of the forest, is a field of beautiful blue flowers, and a perpetually midnight sky.

...What can we do? What can the others do? Even if we get it through to them that those two have no one else involved, it felt as though everyone was stuck on what to do about it other than play along.
Fighting against them hasn't done much yet, either.
[He should know! He's tried twice now, once with each, though at least he got a physical grip on Shigaraki and didn't get smeared all over a barrier in the process.]

Given everything that's happened, I don't blame them. But at the same time, the time is now. If they don't figure out something, that will be it.
[ Merlin is not sounding ominous just to sound ominous, these are just the facts; no way to go around it. But, Beel's frustration is valid; palpable enough for him to feel it and actually emphasize with it. ]
But they will need to confront them eventually. You're right that they're not matched at the level they are. At this point, it'll definitely require some direct interference on our part.
Not all of you are craftsmen, but I'm sure you can all help with putting together items or materials with some things I have here, and sending them over. [ Fighting accessories... ] And then there's the fact that the 'dead' can slip by the living, potentially glimpsing places where they can't, or other things.
Lastly, of course, is giving them that strength to move forward. This one is crucial, naturally. Now, more than ever. Everyone is struggling to see the light at the end of the tunnel, or another way. They will have to find it on their own, but they can't do it alone.
This is all we can do, with the specifics still a work in progress, but I will be gathering you all when the time comes, of course.
[ Together...they can manage something. Ultimately, what actions the living can take will be unknown until at the endpoint. They will have to figure that out on their own.
But at least Merlin seems to think things are not impossible. ]

But Wang Lu had been right. There wasn't much good in focusing on what should or could have been done.
After a moment, Beel lets his demon form disappate, rolling his shoulders.]
If the others have planned anything else, it hasn't been in public. Not where I've heard or seen.
But I think being as straightforward as possible will help, if we still can. Making sure there's no room for misunderstanding or doubting themselves.
I think if we can do that, and if they can try to work together, knowing that? Then I think they can rebel.
If you have a plan, Merlin, I'm all for it. I want to get everyone out of here.

[ Merlin is trying to phrase the words as 'I'm pretty sure no one has thought up a coherent and thoughtful plan of action whatsoever' nicely as possible. No one seems to like it whenever he phrases things so bluntly.
Honestly he probably failed a little here in softening the figurative blow, but it is not out of any malice or desire to cast shade. ]

Plus, knowing that we've got their backs would help. Sure, we've been reaching out, but you know how it is. The way we've been communicating unfortunately has limits. For now, anyway.
Anyway, I'm glad to hear you're on board and the fight hasn't left you just yet! Not that I imagine you'd be a quitter.

[ Technically and realistically speaking, the name 'Beelzebub' isn't unknown to him even before he was, uh, kidnapped to the islands. Naturally the connotations that go alongside such a name are also not a mystery.
That said, there are apple trees around, if Beel ever feels so inclined. ]
Overhaul at least has noticed what's been going along, so I feel like that's something he wouldn't exactly hide, because if he did, he might be concerned that it'd make him look stupid. A guy like that has a lot of pride, you know~
To be honest, that's probably one of the only things he has said that would be credible. Anything else, I wouldn't fault you for being suspicious of it, as you should be.

Mn. It is. We had centuries to prepare for that back home, though. This is a little different.
Overhaul... reminds me a lot of Lucifer, though. The Avatar of Pride. I worry that that's why I haven't been able to really think against him more.
But even Lucifer isn't without fault. So neither is Overhaul.

It's okay, though. He's used to being short on time. ]
Overhaul's a tricky and powerful man, where he's at in comparison to everyone right now, anyway. I won't say that some of that whole trusting in them was basically all on them because he seems to enjoy his mindgames.
But, you're right in that no one's perfect. His tactics aren't going to save him in the end when everyone else crushes him.
