THANK YOU FOR THE WILD RIDE and dealing with my screeching harpy of an idol!! i had a good time, and i hoped everyone loved this crybaby as much as i loved the rest of this cast. if anyone wants to keep in touch my plurk is revelries, and my discord is also revelries!!! blows kisses
Haruka... our poor little normie boy... I was cheering him on the whole time holy shit. He was so NORMAL and it made for such hilarity. Also he is super super cute and I am almost interested in I7 now. Almost.
lav...sweet lav, bestie, THANK YOU SO MUCH for shipping with me and for the amazing development! we went from "ha ha they're gonna die it'll be kinda sad" to "oh no they're good" to literally crying over them in vc LOL. i knew i loved haruka, but your portrayal of him has easily made him my second favorite in the entire series. close to 1st, tbh. idk man it's hard to even compete with yams but you are just that powerful.
i hope we can psl these two because aaAAAAAHHH BRAINROT but you've been fantastic! thank you for all the funny, sad, heartbreaking AND heartwarming threads!
Even if they weren't always interacting with each other, I loved the threads I got to have with Haruka. There's a real discrepancy between some of the more fun-loving shitposting that happened like say, on the network and at spa curfew, progressing into the more serious elements of his character at the w5 trial. Throughout it all, he just seemed very realistic in the way that you can be realistic when you're a young bully from an idol series. I could so clearly see his character development and the impact of other people on his arc and temperament. And sometimes he was just a brat, even when it was inconvenient, and I thought that was perfect. When the normal guy stands toe-to-toe with superpowered assholes because he's in a mood and then immediately has to cry because he's the normal guy... just so much about him that was pitch-perfect.
I'm glad I got the chance to meet you in this game! Until next time - thanks a bunch!!
I still don't know his canon very well, but I do want to let you know that as a result of him playing in the game I've been allowing people to slowly drag me into i7 due to having seen him (and other idol characters from previous games but Haruka was the nail in the coffin, so to speak) doing his thing in the game. I liked that no matter what happened, he always ensured that he would always remain true to himself, even while everything was essentially blowing up all around him.
I wish I'd had the opportunity to interact with him more, but that's fine. Watching him be Himself is a reward all on its own, and I'm very happy you brought along this chaotic young man to the rest of the game!
I'm looking real forward to seeing whoever you bring in whichever game we happen to be in next! Thank you so much for playing, Lavender! \o/
