you probably know all my thoughts but i will write them out for you anyway. i will subject you to my rambling again and you'll just have to deal with it.
it's really amazing how this started out? xiao just wanted haruka to be quiet and stay safe, but the more they got to know each other, the closer they got. haruka started showing him novel mortal things that he actually enjoyed, and xiao kept watch over him in exchange. and then haruka just. kissed him and told him he liked him, and that really changed everything.
"i need more time to think" xiao u needed a day before you realized u wanted to be with this dude stfu
anyway, yeah. their romance was surprisingly so kind, nurturing and understanding...while also being kind of a mess, what with who they are, their personality differences, and life experiences being so vastly opposite and yet the same?? they had their differences but it was really nice that they were able to come to an understanding every time. also WHY DID YOU MAKE EVERYTHING THIRSTY I'M CRYINGGGG. i think one of the best parts about their relationship is despite xiao being physically much, much stronger than haruka, their relationship was incredibly mutual, and they've both given each other so much. that is what i love the most about them....that despite their differences, they are still willing to offer so much to one another....it's very good.
invite xiao to your concerts and he'll make them when he can, haru-chan!!!! also they should go to the next lantern rite together.... i love them so much lav, thank you for shipping with me.
